REFLECTION
by Kate Ashley DimaandalAfter I took my college entrance exam last sunday, I realized that time flies so fast. Yesterday, I was just worrying about my entrance exam for JHS but right now, I am worrying about taking a big exam for my future. Although my everyday life is busy, the Filipino word “Banayad” is my daily mantra and my favorite word. Being calm and slowing down or taking my time is important because I have my own timeline and own story. In everything that is happening right now, I believe being “banayad” can lead me to more effective outcomes while enjoying my own life without sacrificing the enjoyment that I also want to experience.

by Kristen RayaDuring my long highschool journey, grade 12 has been the most, if not, significant, peaceful, and productive year of my life. Being able to find a school that would provide a lifetime full of opportunities and memories was not on my “High School Bingo Card”. This made me realize that finding the right environment will be the key for us to find the right people and the right experiences. It's like planting a seed in a fertilized soil, surround yourself with the right people, and you'll grow naturally towards the brightest opportunities. I am more than grateful to have the [privilege to study in a school full of responsibilities.

REFLECTION
by Tiffany Ambher SibalConsidering the fact that we’re only a month away from graduating, so applying for a specific college is not a foreign concept to us, senior high school students. However, there was a point in my life where I was almost kicked out of the house just because of the college/s I've applied to and wanted to pursue. My aunt from my mother’s side had scolded me just because of such, implying that I was “selfish” and that I were to leave “their” home if I actually wanted to pursue the colleges of my choice, rather than the one they’ve been forcing me to attend. I was honestly crying so much at the time because I was truly flabbergasted by her sudden outburst on that topic. Yet, even though she had threatened me, I still applied and took the entrance exams. In choosing the university I want to study in, I find the distance from the college itself to my home, a major factor of it. And so, by pursuing (and hopefully getting accepted by) these specific universities, I am able to get away from all the negativity and toxicity I had endured in this household, focusing more on my studies in the process.

REFLECTION
by Benedic LopezI was born in a small barangay in Lawy, Capas, a place where everyone knew each other and shared a strong sense of community. My childhood was filled with curiosity, laughter, and a love for exploring. I spent countless hours playing with other kids my age, running through open fields, and imagining going to faraway places and exciting adventures. I was always eager to learn and discover new things, which made every day a small adventure of my own.Growing up, school played a big role in shaping the person I am today. It taught me discipline, patience, and the value of hard work. I studied hard, focused on the things I enjoyed, and always tried to do my best. Life wasn't always easy, and I faced struggles that tested my strength. But every challenge became a lesson, teaching me to be stronger, wiser, and more determined to reach my goals. Family and friends have been my greatest source of support throughout my life. They've shown me the importance of love, kindness, and standing together through life's ups and downs. Simple moments with them such as simple conversation, a shared laugh, or a quiet walk have brought me so much joy and meaning. As I grew older, I came to realize that life is full of highs and lows. There are moments to celebrate and moments to overcome. Today, I focus on making a difference in everything I do,whether it's through my school, relationships, or personal goals. I believe life is about learning, growing, and helping others. This is my story so far, filled with lessons and experiences or challenges but I know the future holds more exciting chapters, and I look forward to continuing this journey with hope and purpose. Every one of us has different stories and challenges but always remember that you are not alone. I am certain that your family and friends are always there for you.
